Chile Bowl Exchange


    Every year, the Tortilla Factory grows 8 to 10 varieties of fresh chiles in their entrance gardens.
    Varieties change, but usually include: habeneros, jalapenos, hungarian wax, serrano, cherry bombs, super reds and more. The restaurant offers these chiles free to customers and accepts donations from customers who have grown too many chiles for their own use.
    The chile growing season extends from mid-May to mid-October each year.
