A Little About Us

    The Tortilla Factory Caterers have provided full-service catering throughout the Metropolitan area for over 34 years. We are able to cater parties of 30-500 including: Office Parties, Weddings, Company Picnics, or Private parties in your home; we can do it all with quick, efficient and professional serivce. Here's How it Works
    The Tortilla Factory Caterers offer a variety of catering services: boxed luncheons, drop-off disposable buffets, and full-service catering. In order to simplify the process, we recommend the following steps:
    1. Boxed Luncheon Delivery:
      Please select items A-J from Boxed Lunch Menu and place order. 48-hour notice is recommended.
    2. Disposable Buffetts and Full Service Catering:
      Please select from our Most Requested menus or create a unique menu from our appetizers, salads, entrees, etc. Please feel free to call for our recommendations.
Policies
  1. In order to secure a date, a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required at the time of agreement. The remaining balance is to be paid upon completion of the party, unless other arrangements are made.
  2. If other arrangements are made and the balance is not paid within 30 days, a 2% service charge will be added monthly.
  3. Rain dates can be arranged if schedule allows.
  4. Extra Staff - additional staff can be hired at the rate of:
    Bartenders - $25 per hour
    Servers - $25 per hour
  5. Taxes - 6.5% Virginia state and Herndon Meals tax will be added to the bill.
  6. Special equipment - Any special equipment will be arranged by the customer, thru a local rental company.
  7. Full Service - A 20% service charge added to each bill to cover hourly wages, equipment and alternative charges.
  8. Tippng - At discretion of customer. 10% is recommended.
Drop Off Service
    Most menu items can be delivered in disposable containers if full-service is not necessary for your event. In such cases, Tortilla Factory will provide disposable table cloths, plasticware, paperware, and utensils. A delivery charge will be applicable.

    To drop off disposable buffets: 1-50 people 50 or more people
    Local $25 $40
    To Northern Virginia $35 $45
    To Washington DC $60 $75
    To Maryland $60 $75
Food Safety Tips

    All foods are made fresh to order, without preservatives. Keep cold foods stored at 45 degrees or less and hot foods stored at 140 degrees or more. Do not leave any foods out at room temperature for more than 30 minutes.

Desserts

    Butter Fudge Nut Brownies - Rich brownies made from chocolate liqueur.
    $1.95 per person

    Panoche Cake - A butter-walnut spice cake with a brown sugar candy bottom.
    $2.25 per person

    Fruit Bar - An assortment of seasonal fresh fruits generally including watermelon, apples, bananas, grapes, and strawberries.
    $3.95 per person

    Cookies - An assortment of Chocolate Peanut Chunk, White Chocolate Pecan, Double Chocolate Chip, and Oatmeal Raisin
    $1.75 per person

Beverages

    Sodas
    $1.50 each. Includes ice and cup

    Beer
    Domestic: $50 per case opened
    Imported: $75 per case opened
    Kegs: $175 / $225 per keg tapped
    Keg comes with Keg Tub, Tap, Cups & Ice.

    Sangria
    Sangria (red or white): $35 per gallon
    Other wines available by the case upon request.

Margarita Machines *
(Pina Colada, Margarita & Daiquiris)

    A frozen Margarita Machine can be rented for your next party. It is a hassle-free way of serving your guests perfect frozen drinks.

    Margarita Machine Rental with full service catering:
    $225 (includes 4 gallon Margarita mix)

    Margarita flavor selection:
    Lime, Peach, Raspberry

    * Available to Full Service customers only
    ** Customer provides alcohol
    *** Additional mix available at $15 per gallon
